Rockmore Catalog: A Complete Resource Guide for Drilling Tools

Rockmore International Catalog

Rockmore International announces the publication of a new comprehensive drilling product catalog. Featuring more than 1,500 items, the 111-page, full-color glossy catalog is a complete drilling resource guide for mining, construction, quarry, and water-well companies.

Product-specification and application information is printed in four languages within the same publication: English, Spanish, German and French. The catalog also will be available soon on the Rockmore Web site in PDF format at www.rockmore-intl.com.

“An expanded section showcases our renowned line of down-the-hole (DTH) drill bits to fit most popular DTH hammers,” said Pejman Eghdami, executive vice president, Rockmore International. “We also feature our T60 Mega Rod 60 mm straight-hole drill system especially designed for more powerful top-hammer drill rigs, and our innovative FA carbide profile for bits that encounter hard, abrasive rock conditions.”

The catalog, which includes Rockmore’s certificate of ISO 9001 compliance, is formatted for easy product look-up, and is organized by industry categories such as “extension drilling,” “drifting and tunneling,” “DTH equipment,” and other drilling systems.

Other new catalog sections feature carbide grinding accessories, and new designs and concepts for hole reaming tools.

“We also feature our new Thread Guard product, a lubricant specifically designed by our R&D specialists for the severe high temperatures and percussive environment of drill-string component threads,” said Eghdami. The company’s new FA carbide profile for hard and abrasive rock conditions was developed for Rockmore’s new Xtreme series of button bits. The profile also works for bits in DTH applications suited for quarry and water-well drilling. The Xtreme bits also employ a new concept called “TURBO” that uses angled radial flush grooves to enhance chip flushing and increase wear protection.

The T60 Mega Rod Drill System is designed to increase accuracy and penetration rates, while decreasing energy costs. It uses a new robust thread design to provide a strong, effective transfer of energy between components while making them easier to uncouple. Its efficient, ergonomic design makes it especially adept for single-person drilling operations.

The catalog section on DTH drilling equipment features Rockmore’s line of DTH bit hammers, including ROK 3, ROK 3.5, and ROK 4 models. The ROK series is ideally suited for quarry and construction drilling applications.
