Rockmore International introduces its new “Multi-Dome” carbide design for DTH drill bits that provides faster bit-penetration rates while ensuring greater overall insert life.

The Multi-Dome profile was developed based on extensive field testing in extreme mining, construction, and water-well drilling environments. Its unique dual-diameter design enhances bit performance by improving rock-chip geometry, leading to more efficient chip flushing. Two radii on the insert dome increase carbide life, while extended dome height ensures faster bit penetration rates.

The Multi-Dome carbide is available for DTH bits up to 10 inches (254 mm) in diameter to provide improved performance in a variety of rock conditions.
